Who is Boris Korczak

Boris Korczak In CongressBoris Korczak is a former CIA Agent and he's been making headlines since he was exposed and marked for death by the Soviets.

Korczak's life was put in grave danger as soon as the KGB discovered that he had been spying on them while pretending to be one of them.

You see, Boris Korczak was a double agent!

He infiltrated the KGB in the 1970's and was exposed by an intoxicated American diplomat attending USSR Embassy' October Revolution reception in 1979.

After his cover was blown in December of 1979, Korczak fled to the United States only to have the CIA turn their collective back on him. In 1981 he was covertly shot with a ricin laced pellet in a grocery store in Vienna Virginia.

This tactic comes straight out of the world of Cold War espionage and has precedent from when Georgi Markov was shot with a ricin laced pellet in 1978, the method was dubbed "Umbrella Shooting". The difference between the Markov and Korczak shootings is that this was the first time an agent was targeted on U.S. soil.

Korczak survived the shooting and is now very openly revealing fascinating new information on a daily basis that gives the rest of us a window on the shadowy cloak and dagger world of Cold War spies and the Agency that runs them.

He fled to the United States in 1980 and had many attempts on his life. In 1981 he was shot with a poisoned pellet containing ricin in Giant Food Store in Virginia.

He appeared on many TV and radio shows, telling the public that a dishonest policy toward agents can cripple HUMINT operations all around the world.

To date, he has received no compensation from the United States or the CIA. The Federal Court of Claims on the base of Totten Doctrine chose not to allow Korczak to sue the CIA. Korczak believes the US Government is a crooked government for the very reason that it rejects, abuses and ultimately tries to destroy and discredit the very people, who risk their lives, to defend the United States and the freedoms her people enjoy.

Korczak is putting the finishing touches on his tell-all book about his time in the Agency and is vastly expanding his website to give the public a window view into the world of Cold War espionage.
